The city of Santa Maria has scheduled three community meetings to provide information and guidance to residents regarding general city-related questions.

Residents are encouraged to come prepared for an informal, interactive, roundtabletype setting. A representative from police and fire will be on hand to help answer questions. In the past, questions from community members ranged from noise complaints to creating a teen artist wall.

The meetings will accommodate Spanish and English speakers and will be offered at three times in three locations.

» Thursday at Atkinson Community Center, 1000 N. Railroad St.

» Sept. 23 at Elwin Mussell Senior Center, 510 E. Park Ave.

» Oct. 22 at Minami Community Center, 600 W. Enos Drive.

All meetings are scheduled from 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.
