Disney blockbuster, “101 Dalmatians,” will open UCSB Arts & Lectures’ 2025 Free Summer Films line-up: Dog Days of Summer, 8:30 p.m. Friday, July 11 at the Santa Barbara County Courthouse Sunken Garden.

Movie-goers can enjoy the pre-screening scene with music and prizes from KLITE and Morning Show host Catherine Remak; puppy-themed face painting by Santa Barbara Face Painting; photos with Cruella de Vil; and raffle prizes including a day of doggy day care from Dioji.

Disney’s animated “101 Dalmatians” is a spot-on, puppy-filled adventure. When Dalmatians Pongo and Perdita have 15 puppies, Cruella De Vil attempts to buy the litter from its owners.

After the couple refuses to sell, Cruella sets the fur-raising adventure in motion by dognapping all of the Dalmatian puppies in London – including Pongo and Perdita’s.

Pongo and a heroic cast of tail-wagging characters set out to rescue the puppies from Cruella.
