Matteo Calene’s walk-off line-drive sacrifice fly in the bottom of the 10th inning scored Ian Gilmore to give Dos Pueblos a 5-4 Channel League win over Rio Mesa Tuesday.

Gilmore led off the inning with a single, and advanced from first to third on a perfect sacrifice bunt from Dylan Gesswein, setting up Calene’s game-winner.

Kyle Spink started on the mound for the Chargers and allowed one earned run over 2.2 innings. Owen Simandle then pitched 1.1 innings of scoreless relief, and Kevin Wirtz added three innings of one-run ball in relief for Dos Pueblos.

Jesse Di Maggio pitched the final three innings, not allowing a run to earn the win.

At the plate, Di Maggio was 1-for-4 with two RBI while Zach Gesswein had three singles.

The win gives the Chargers a 5-4 league record. They are 12-9 overall.
