A suspect in a fatal stabbing Thursday near downtown Santa Barbara was apprehended in Camarillo late Friday by Santa Barbara police detectives and Ventura County sheriff’s deputies acting on a tip.

Steven Shane Cisneros, 34, was arrested without incident at a Camarillo park about 11:10 p.m. Friday. He was transported back to Santa Barbara County and booked into County Jail for murder. No bail was set.

Cisneros was wanted in connection with the fatal stabbing of Lawrence Glenn Kaiser, 45, at 231 W. Haley St., just before 9 a.m. Thursday. Kaiser had recently moved to Santa Barbara from North Lake Tahoe, Nev. Police said both men apparently had been living at the home.
