A two-car collision in the Santa Ynez Valley sent one person to the hospital with moderate injuries Monday morning.
The accident occurred around 7 a.m. near Calzada Avenue and Roblar Avenue, according to the Santa Barbara County Fire Department. The collision involved a sedan and an SUV, which were each occupied by male drivers.
The drivers both exited their vehicles after the crash, and the driver of the sedan was transported to the Santa Barbara Cottage Hospital, County Fire Capt. Scott Safechuck said.
The driver of the SUV declined medical treatment, he added.
The California Highway Patrol is investigating the incident. No further details were available.
