Two people were seriously injured late Thursday night in a collision in the Santa Ynez Valley involving a pickup and a bus from the Chumash Casino Resort.
Firefighters and other emergency personnel were dispatched at about 11:25 p.m. to the crash on Highway 154 near Stagecoach Road, according to Capt. Scott Safechuck of the Santa Barbara County Fire Department.
The adult male driver of the pickup suffered moderate injuries in the collision, as did a woman who was on the bus, Safechuck said.
Both were transported by AMR ambulance to Santa Barbara Cottage Hospital.
Their names and details on their conditions were not available.
Highway 154 was shut down in both directions for at least 90 minutes after the crash, which was under investigation by the California Highway Patrol.
