A trio of local high school baseball players garnered All-CIF-SS honors following stellar senior seasons and solid playoff runs.
The Dos Pueblos battery duo of Seth Tedeschi and Zach Gesswein, along with Cate pitcher Peter Lehman, served as the local All-CIF-SS representatives for the 2025 season.
Tedeschi started every playoff game for the Chargers to help lead them to a CIF-SS Division 3 Runner-Up finish.
The righthander shined all season long to cap off his high school career, pitching to a 2.39 ERA while striking out 59 batters in 76 innings. He finished with an overall record of 10-4.
Gesswein was one of the top hitters in the Channel League and carried that success into the postseason, hitting .415 with 44 hits, 26 RBI and 22 runs across 35 games played.
Meanwhile, Lehman was dominant on the mound for the Rams throughout the year as the team reached the second round of the Division 8 playoffs.
The lefthander had a microscopic 0.95 ERA in 44 â…“ innings pitched, striking out 68 batters along the way. He also hit .320 with four homers and 14 RBI at the plate.
