The Santa Barbara County Sheriff’s Office arrested three suspects of armed robberies at Domino’s Pizza locations in Orcutt and Arroyo Grande Friday night.

They were arrested after a law enforcement vehicle pursuit that ended in a traffic collision with the suspect vehicle and a bystander vehicle, sheriff’s spokeswoman Raquel Zick said.

According to the Santa Barbara County Sheriff’s Office, deputies responded to a report of an armed robbery at Domino’s Pizza in the 3400-block of Orcutt Road Friday night. Prior to their arrival, the suspects fled the scene in a white Toyota Camry.

When deputies attempted a traffic stop, the vehicle fled and crashed into a bystander vehicle on Bradley Road at Lakeview, Zick said. The bystander driver sustained minor injuries in the collision.

The three people in the suspect vehicle were arrested at the scene of the collision and got medical attention for injuries from the crash, Zick said.

Deputies arrested driver Gloria Fernandez Lopez, 29, of Santa Maria, and two passengers, 23-year-old Michael Saucedo and 27-year-old Mitchel Sipe, both from Bakersfield.

Investigators determined the three suspects were also suspects in an armed robbery about an hour earlier at the Domino’s Pizza on East Grand Avenue in Arroyo Grande.

The Arroyo Grande Police Department said in a statement that officers responded around 9 p.m. Friday to a report of suspects holding employees at gunpoint as they robbed the business.

The Santa Barbara County Sheriff’s Office arrested the suspects on suspicion of robbery, conspiracy, possession of stolen property, criminal threats, kidnapping, burglary, and false imprisonment — all felonies. They were also booked on suspicion of brandishing a replica firearm and possession of a controlled substance without a prescription, which are misdemeanors.

Sheriff’s Office spokesperson Raquel Zick added that Fernandez Lopez was also booked for evading arrest causing serious injuries.

All three suspects remained in custody as of Monday. The Santa Barbara County Sheriff’s Office originally said on Monday morning that all suspects were being held on $500,000 bail, however its custody website noted that Saucedo was being held without bail.

The Arroyo Grande Police Department said that the exact amount of money taken from the Domino’s Pizza locations is still under investigation.
