Boys & Girls Club (BGC ) Alumni are invited to participate in the United Boys & Girls Clubs 36th Annual Bill Oliver Alumni Golf Tournament, Friday, Aug. 9, at Glen Annie Golf Club.
The tournament honors Bill Oliver who was active in youth programs with the Boys & Girls Clubs. Oliver was devoted to the development and character-building of young people through recreational programs and education.
Thanks to BGC alumni, mentors, and community support, United Boys & Girls Clubs can keep their doors open for youth who need their services. UBGC offers a variety of services such as college trips for teens, summer camps for all ages, STEM programming, and music lessons.
Money raised from the golf tournament enables the organization to make sure no child is turned away from the club’s services because of his/her economic situation.
Cost to participate in the golf event is $150 for an individual or $600 for a foursome. Sponsorship opportunities available.
