Three box trucks were damaged or destroyed by fire Sunday afternoon at a rental lot in Goleta, according to the Santa Barbara County Fire Department.
Firefighters were dispatched shortly before 4 p.m. to the Penske Truck Rental lot, at 6190 Hollister Ave., fire Capt. Daniel Bertucelli said.
He said three engines and a truck were sent to the incident on the corner of David Love Place across from the Santa Barbara Airport, and crews were able to quickly knock down the flames.
No structures were threatened and no injuries were reported.
The cause of the fire was under investigation, Bertucelli said.
