Three people were injured Thursday in a vehicle collision on Highway 154 near San Marcos Pass, according to the Santa Barbara County Fire Department.

The “high speed crash,” involving a flat-bed truck and a sedan, occurred at about 8:30 a.m. near the intersection with Paradise Road, said fire Capt. Daniel Bertucelli.

One person suffered moderate injuries, and two others had minor injuries, Bertucelli said.

All were transported by AMR ambulance to Santa Barbara Cottage Hospital.

Their names and details on their conditions were not available.

The eastbound lanes of the highway were closed after the crash due to vehicles in the roadway.

The collision was under investigation by the California Highway Patrol.
