Five members of the Santa Barbara 805 Water Polo Club have been selected to USA Water Polo youth national teams.
The players were named to the Youth, Cadet and Development squads following the completition of Olympic Development Program Women’s National Team Selection Camps.
The local players named to the Women’s Youth National Team are Abigail Hendrix, Hannah Meyer and Cassidy Miller. The Cadet squad includes Kate Meyer and the Development National has Emma Gilbert on the roster.
The athletes will be compete for roster spots for all upcoming events in 2019.
The Youth National Team coaching staff includes UCSB’s Serela Kay.
