Then Comes Baby, a new local nonprofit, will open to the community with an event 10:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 6 at 200 N. La Cumbre Road, Ste. H. This will be the first in a series of family-centered open houses and professional-focused speaker series events throughout the next year.
Then Comes Baby is a resource center for new and expecting parents and caregivers in Santa Barbara, as well as perinatal professionals. Working with onsite therapists and integrative health providers, Then Comes Baby works to ease the transition into parenthood and build the foundation for connected, resilient families from pregnancy through early parenthood.
Then Comes Baby caters to people seeing help in a time of need; guidance through the steep learning curve of becoming a parent; and meaningful connections during one of life’s most isolating times. Then Comes Baby’s team of practitioners helps families navigate such things as feeding and emotional health challenges, or exhaustion-inducing sleep crises.
The event will offer opportunities to tour the new site, meet teachers and staff, and participate in free family fun activities. For more information, visit thencomesbaby.org.
