For its 75th Anniversary Season Finale, the Choral Society will present a program of Mozart to Modern, 7 p.m. Saturday, May 6 and 3 p.m. Sunday, May 7 in the sanctuary at First Presbyterian Church, 21 E. Constance Ave., Santa Barbara.

Highlighting the first half of the concert will be the “Mozart Requiem.” The second half features a range of music that spans centuries, from Giovanni Pierluigi da Palestrina (16th century) to Morten Lauridsen (20th century).

The 70-member chorus and full orchestra, conducted by artistic director Jo Anne Wasserman, will close with a work by American composer Christopher Tin, sung in a dialect from the Lango region of Uganda.

Returning soloists for the concert include soprano Tamara Bevard, mezzo-soprano Tracy Van Fleet, tenor Ben Brecher, and bass Dennis Rupp.
