The Santa Maria Public Library is bringing back two popular programs in December, Wishing Trees and Gift-Wrapping Stations, both at the Main Library, 421 S. McClelland St.
The Wishing Trees offer patrons an opportunity to write down a hope, wish or dream for the upcoming year. Patrons can hang their wish on a tree and read what others have written.
The trees will be available during the library’s regular hours throughout December. The trees will be on the first floor of the main library beginning Sunday, Dec. 1.
Patrons are invited to enjoy a cup of hot cocoa and festive cheer while wrapping their holiday gifts. Wrapping materials will be supplied by the library.
The free gift-wrapping station will be available 2-5 p.m. Fridays, Dec. 13 and 20 in the Library’s Learning Loft. The self-serve gift wrapping station is for ages 18 and up; no registration is required.
Questions may be directed to the library’s Information Desk, 805-925-0994 ext. 8562.
