The Santa Maria Public Library in partnership with the American Association of University Women (AAUW) Santa Maria Branch, will host a presentation on resources and support for living independently, 3 p.m. Thursday, March 27 in the library’s Shepard Hall, 421 S. McClelland St.

The event will feature speakers from the nonprofit group Access Central Coast, formerly known as the Independent Living Resource Center.

Presenters will offer information about resources and support the organization provides, including assistive technology; blind and low-vision services; the device lending and demonstration center; interpreter registry; and benefits counseling.

A Q&A session will follow, and informational materials will be provided.
