Chop Chinese Food UCSB has opened in Isla Vista, and it’s the kind of place every college community needs.
Egg rolls. Orange chicken. Rice. Pork. Shrimp. All of it in big helpings that you serve yourself. The restaurant’s motto: “How high can you fill?”
In fact, part of the place’s appeal is encouraging customers to stack their bowls as high as they can. Veggie bowls are $2.99, and meat bowls start at $4.99.
The restaurant, at 966 Embarcadero Del Mar, Unit C, serves dine-in and delivery.
“Dear students at UCSB, we invite you to try our fresh and delicious food. Fill your bowl to your heart’s content, and enjoy the same price!” according to an Instagram post.
