A new nonprofit consultancy focused on helping community organizations strengthen their operations and measure their impact has been established by former Santa Barbara School Board member Pedro Paz.

Responsive Evaluation Services will provide a suite of services to nonprofits, government agencies, and community-based organizations, with program evaluation serving as the cornerstone of its offerings.

“Too many valuable community programs struggle to effectively measure their impact, secure sustainable funding, or build the organizational capacity needed to thrive,” said Paz.

“Our mission is to provide accessible, responsive services that help organizations not just evaluate their work, but strengthen every aspect of their operations,” he said.

The consultancy also offers strategic planning, grant writing and fundraising support, organizational development, board training, and project management assistance.

“This holistic approach ensures that evaluation findings translate into actionable improvements across all areas of an organization’s work,” Paz said.

Paz brings experience in government and nonprofit sectors to his new venture. His background includes volunteer service on nonprofit boards and government commissions, where he gained insight into the challenges organizations face in building capacity, securing resources, and demonstrating effectiveness.
