The Santa Barbara Wildlife Care Network (SBWCN) invites the community to an afternoon of storytelling and visiting the world of wildlife rehabilitation with a screening of “Wild Rescue,” 3 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 5 at the Granada Theatre.

“Wild Rescue” is a new IMAX documentary that is a project of the Santa Barbara Wildlife Care Network. Narrated by television personality Marc Summers, it is produced by Tandem Stills + Motion, Inc., and distributed by Cosmic Pictures.

The film follows the dramatic rescues, rehabilitations and releases of wildlife in crisis, many of which unfolded just minutes from downtown Santa Barbara.

“This film captures the heart of what we do at SBWCN,” said Ariana Katovich, executive director of Santa Barbara Wildlife Care Network. “It’s not just a story about wildlife, it’s a story about our community’s compassion, our resilience, and our shared wild home.”

Tickets to the film are $10 for students/seniors, $25 for adults, $50 VIP. All tickets sold through the Granada Theatre and are available at https://ticketing.granadasb.org/21234.
