Patrons throughout Isla Vista and beyond are encouraged to bookmark the updated Goleta Valley Library Bookvan schedule available at www.GoletaValleyLibrary.org/Bookvan. The new schedule takes effect Tuesday, Jan. 6.

Changes include:

• A regular schedule that is the same every week.
• Updated Tuesday-Saturday schedule, allowing for weekend visits.
• Revised days and times to reach more community members where they are – especially students, families, and after-school programs.
• New opportunities for collaboration with Isla Vista partners.

The schedule includes five of the bookvan’s previous stops, which offer safe and convenient access to patrons visiting by car, bike, skateboard, or on foot. Find the bookvan at the following days, times and locations:

• Tuesdays:
◦ IVCSD Community Center, 976 Embarcadero del Mar Ste. 101, 9:30 a.m.-noon.
◦ Estero Park, 889 Camino Del Sur, 2-4:30 p.m.
• Wednesdays:
◦ UCSB Orfalea Family Children’s Center, West Campus Point Lane, 9:30 a.m.-noon.
◦ Isla Vista Elementary School, 6875 El Colegio Road, 2-4:30 p.m.
• Thursdays:
◦ Friendship Manor, 6647 El Colegio Road, 9:30 a.m.-noon
◦ IVCSD Community Center, 976 Embarcadero del Mar Ste. 101, 2-4:30 p.m.
• Fridays:
◦ Goleta Valley Library Storytimes around town (check Calendar for locations that change weekly) from 10-11 a.m.
◦ Estero Park, 889 Camino Del Sur, 2-4:30 p.m.
• Saturdays:
◦ Friendship Manor, 6647 El Colegio Road, 10 a.m.-12:30 p.m.
