The Santa Maria Public Library has announced the return of the Zip Books Program beginning Thursday, Jan. 22.
The Zip Book Program allows patrons to request a book, large print book, or audiobook that is not available at the library or branches, and have it delivered to their home, free of charge.
Patrons return the book to any of the Santa Maria area libraries when they have finished it, and may then select another Zip Book. A total of five Zip Books are allowed out at one time.
