The Santa Maria Public Library offers a variety of monthly book clubs for adults. Each meeting is held in the Library’s Learning Loft, 421 S. McClelland St.
Patrons interested in participating in the book clubs may register by visiting the library’s online events calendar, or by calling 805-925-0994 ext. 8562. Book clubs include light refreshments and lively discussion.
Coming up this month are:
- Junk Journal Book Club will meet at 3 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 7 to discuss “Great Big Beautiful Life” by Emily Henry and continue crafting junk journals.
- The Valley Reads will explore “Remarkably Bright Creatures” by Shelby Van Pelt, 2 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 14.
- For fans of contemporary romance fiction, the Flirty Fiction Book Club will discuss “People We Meet on Vacation” by Emily Henry; 5:15 p.m. Monday, Feb 16.
