Solvang Theaterfest’s 2026 Spring Season will feature nationally touring artists, patron experiences, and expanded leadership guiding the organization into its next chapter, the theater has announced.

The season opens March 27 with multi-platinum alternative rock band Everclear, bringing decades of chart-topping hits to the outdoor venue, Theaterfest said.

As the first major concert of the spring lineup, the performance signals a strong and energetic start to the season under the stars.

Later this spring, on April 25, audiences can see “I Am KING – The Michael Jackson Experience,” a high-energy tribute celebrating the music and legacy of Michael Jackson.

Additional spring highlights include:

Arts Outreach: Valley Glee on March 28; the touring ABBA tribute “ABRA Cadabra,” April 7; a benefit concert supporting the That Others May Live Foundation, benefiting Air Force rescue personnel and their families, April 11; a community production of “Annie,” April 17-18; Garcia Dance Studio performances, May 2; and Los Olivos Dance Gallery, May 13-16.

“Together, these events showcase Solvang Theaterfest’s role as a premier venue for both nationally touring productions and locally produced performances, strengthening the cultural life of the Santa Ynez Valley,” Theaterfest officials said.

In addition to concert programming, Solvang Theaterfest continues Star Patron Nights, which pairs three PCPA productions with hosted dinners and drinks.

“Designed to deepen community engagement and provide meaningful support for the arts, the program reflects the organization’s commitment to artistic excellence and patron connection,” organizers said.

Also this spring three new members have been added to the Solvang Theaterfest Board of Directors: Jeffrey J. “Skip” Stecker, Eddie Garcia and Gillian Kulp.

Stecker brings decades of live entertainment and production experience, including work with the Santa Barbara Bowl and Radio KRAZy Country 105.9.

A longtime supporter of the Theaterfest dating back to its original construction in 1974, Stecker offers operational knowledge of concert production and venue logistics.

Garcia, CEO of Sanger Family of Wines, joins the board with a background in private equity and mergers and acquisitions.

His expertise in strategic planning, sponsorship development, and financial management strengthens the organization’s long-term sustainability and growth initiatives, Theaterfest said.

Kulp, an interior designer with some 28 years of professional experience, and a former registered nurse specializing in maternal-child health, brings a community-centered perspective Theaterfest said.

Kulp has served on multiple local nonprofit boards and has been involved in arts fundraising and community initiatives throughout the Santa Ynez Valley.

“These leaders represent an exciting step forward for Solvang Theaterfest,” said Chantel Green, executive director.

“With dynamic programming and strong community leadership, we’re building meaningful momentum this spring and beyond,” Green said.
