Feinberg will guide audiences through the current awards season, discussing his coverage of the Oscars, Emmys, Tonys, and other guild and critics’ awards.
The conversation will explore Feinberg’s achievements, tracing how his work has developed over the past two decades in the entertainment industry.
Regarding the upcoming Oscars, Feinberg will cover what to expect, the major rivalries, and potential upsets.
He will offer an insider’s look at heated races in the Best Picture and Directing categories, and the constantly shifting predictions across the acting contenders.
Drawing on interviews with nominated talent, reporting on the campaign trail, and analysis of critics’ prizes and guild awards, Feinberg will explain how his projections take shape and what they reveal about this year’s Oscars race.
“This event will offer our cinema0going Santa Barbara, Goleta, and UCSB campus communities the opportunity to get a true insider perspective on this year’s heated Academy Awards campaign trail,” Melnick said.
“Scott has been covering these awards for many years, and his expertise is invaluable for anyone following these races closely,” he said.
