Gleaming chrome, glimmering paint, and the roar of high-performance engines are set to take over Orcutt at the 13th Annual St. Patrick’s Day Fundraising Car Show hosted by the Knights of Columbus Council 11137, 10 a.m.-3 p.m. Saturday, March 14 at St. Louis de Montfort Church, 1190 E. Clark Ave.

The event is free to attend for spectators.

What began as a modest community gathering in 2011 has evolved into a local institution, organizers said.

“Following a record-breaking year featuring over 100 vehicles and hundreds of spectators, this year’s show promises to be the most impactful yet,” the Knights of Columbus Council said.

“We are thrilled to report that this event has raised over $55,000 for our scholarship fund and youth programs to date,” said James Jepsen, event chair. “The community’s support allows us to turn a passion for classic cars into a future for our local students.”

Event highlights:
• Star Car Central: Spectators can get up close with celebrity vehicles, including Lightning McQueen, Venom, and Firefly.

• Live Entertainment: The local group Unfinished Business will provide a high-energy soundtrack of ’60s rock ‘n’ roll.

• Vendor Faire & Family Fun: Beyond the cars, families can enjoy a vendor market featuring local art, public safety exhibits, bounce houses for children, and a variety of local food options.

• Elite Competition: The show is open to all vehicle classes, with trophies awarded across multiple prestigious categories.

This year’s event is made possible through the support of CASA of Santa Barbara County, Local Copies Etc., Allen’s Quality Plumbing, and Attorney Mario Juarez.
