Westmont will highlight the talent of regional artists in the 2026 Tri-County Juried Exhibition, Altered Realities, May 21-June 20 in the Westmont Ridley-Tree Museum of Art.
The public is invited to celebrate the artists at an opening reception, 4-6 p.m. Thursday, May 21, with the official award announcements taking place at 5:15 p.m.
Andi Campognone, Los Angeles-based curator, author and film producer, served as this year’s juror, facing the challenging task of narrowing down 468 entries from 222 regional artists, organizers said. Ultimately, she selected 55 works by 49 local artists.
“One of the great joys each year at the Westmont Ridley-Tree Museum of Art is presenting the work of artists from our tri-county community,” said Chris Rupp, interim director of the museum.
“The creativity flourishing in this region is extraordinary, and we are delighted to provide a space where these voices and visions can be shared with a wider audience,” Rupp said. “Though this exhibition represents just a small selection, it reflects the depth, energy, and artistic spirit that makes our community so special.”
Featured artists include Tal Avitzur, Timo Beckwith, Sally Berry, Kit Boise-Cossart, Marcia Burtt, Kevin Carman, Susan Read Cronin, Hannah Croshaw, Jeanne Dentzel, David Dixon, Lynn Dodge, Susan Drake, Bruce Everett, Valori Fussell, David Gallup, Kimberly Hahn, Lynne Hanna, Jeff Harris, Sol Hill.
