Power was restored on Thursday to Southern California Edison customers in the eastern Goleta Valley and the unincorporated area of Santa Barbara County affected by a morning power outage.

Roughly 4,600 customers were without power when an outage hit the area just before 7 a.m., according to Southern California Edison spokesperson David Eisenhauer.

Power was restored to all but 600 customers around 10:30 a.m. Power was restored to all customers affected by the outage by 11:42 a.m., per Eisenhauer.

The cause of the outage remained under investigation around 2:30 p.m.
