Community members are invited to the Santa Barbara Jewish Film Festival, Nov. 1-8, an event that celebrates the power of storytelling and the conversations that continue long after the credits roll.

Held at the newly renovated SBIFF Film Center, 916 State St., Santa Barbara, the Jewish Film Festival offers eight days of unique, quality films, including documentaries, dramas, comedies and shorts by American, European and Israeli filmmakers.

Eighteen programs including Q&As with filmmakers and panel discussions, special guests, live performances, and a VIP opening night reception are scheduled.

All net proceeds support the Jewish Federation of Greater Santa Barbara’s cultural programming, Portraits of Survival Holocaust education, and social support services.
