The Downtown Santa Barbara Improvement Association (DSBIA) invites residents and visitors to a week of events including cultural arts, live music, and Halloween.

From a U.S. premiere of Jonny & The Baptists to art exhibits and a safe downtown Halloween trick-or-treat, there’s something for everyone.
Featured happenings are:
● Santa Barbara Water History and the Mission Tunnel – Lecture by Hugo A. Loaiciga, 6 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 23 at Alhecama Theatre.
● U.S. Premiere of Jonny & The Baptists at Center Stage Theater 7 p.m. Oct. 23 and 7:30 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 25.
● Friendship Center Fall Fundraiser: Halloween Disco at Community Arts Workshop, 6 p.m. Friday, Oct. 24.
● Petty Party: Celebrate Music of Tom Petty 7:30 p.m. Oct. 24 at Lobero Theatre.
● New Beginnings Presents: Every Brilliant Thing at Center Stage Theater, 7 p.m. Oct. 24, 2 p.m. Oct. 26.
● Dia de Los Muertos Altar Display and Art Activities at Santa Barbara Museum of Art, noon, Oct. 25.
● Downtown Halloween Trick-or-Treat at local businesses, 3 p.m., Oct. 25.
● Thriller 2025 – Get Scary for Charity! at Courthouse Sunken Gardens, 3 p.m. sharp Oct. 25. Dance party starts at 2 p.m.
