Agustín A. Magana, 67, of Santa Maria passed away on April 23, 2025. Agustin was born in Tangancicuaro, Michoacán on Aug. 28, 1957.
He moved with his family to Santa Maria when he was 13 years old. Agustin attended El Camino Junior High School, and graduated from Santa Maria High School.
Agustin loved anything that had to do with being outdoors.
Agustin is survived by his three brothers Jose L. Magana, Arturo Magana and Donaciano Magana; two sisters Evangelina Sanchez and Luz Moreno; and lots of nephews, nieces and cousins.
Agustin was preceded in death by his parents Ignacio and Angelina Magana; brother Ignacio Magana; and sister Gloria Lopez.
Visitation will be 4-7 p.m. Thursday May 1 at the chapel of Dudley Hoffman Mortuary.
A memorial celebration of Agustin’s life will be at 11 a.m. Friday May 2 at St. John Neuman Church in Santa Maria, followed by burial at the Santa Maria Cemetery.
