Rand Rosenberg and Bobby Shand have been named the new board co-presidents at AHA!
Rosenberg began his involvement as a volunteer in AHA!’s in-school program, working alongside AHA! facilitators at San Marcos High School. Impressed with the efficacy of the program and recognizing the students’ need for the critical social-emotional skills AHA! provides, Rand joined the board in 2018.
Rand most recently held the position of senior vice president of corporate strategy and development at PG&E Corporation. PG&E is recognized as an industry leader on the issue of climate change and the importance of reducing man-made greenhouse gases.
Shand founded The Shand Group (TSG) in 1980 and has helped guide more tha 300 successful international marketing initiatives for such brands as Platinum Guild International, Gemological Institute of America, IWC, Tag Heuer, Absolut Vodka, and Rio Tinto.
Shand joined the AHA! board in 2012 and guided AHA!’s rebranding strategy, as well as a recent redesign of the website. Shand brings expertise in marketing to AHA! at a time where its programs are deserving of a wider audience. He is committed to applying AHA!’s work at scale to make Santa Barbara a model community where all feel safe, seen and connected.
