A pavement rehabilitation project is taking place in Lompoc, as part of ongoing street repair work in the city.

From Oct. 21 through Oct. 28, asphalt-coated aggregates are being applied and are expected to leave a somewhat rough driving surface for a few days until the final layer of slurry seal can be applied, the city reports.

Alley closures will be necessary during the project at various locations through the end of the month, as outlined in the map below.
