Community members and visitors are invited to join American Legion Post 49 for refreshments, featuring the group’s annual Fiesta Pancake Breakfast, during Santa Barbara’s Old Spanish Days celebration.
On Friday, Aug. 2, refreshments will be available for purchase during El Desfile Historico (Historical Fiesta Parade) outside the Veterans Memorial Building, 12 W. Cabrillo Blvd.
• 10 a.m. Donuts and coffee
• 11:30 a.m. Barbecue beef sandwiches, hot dogs, cold water, sodas, cookies, chips
On Saturday, Aug. 3 is the annual Fiesta Pancake Breakfast for $15.
• 8 a.m.-noon – Eggs, bacon, and all-you-can-eat pancakes
• 8-10 a.m. – Special mouse-shaped pancakes for the kiddos before the Children’s Parade, which starts three blocks east of the Veterans’ Building
Sunday, Aug. 4
• 8 a.m.-noon – Fiesta Pancake Breakfast with eggs, bacon, and all-you-can-eat pancakes for $15.
The Santa Barbara Sister City Committee Puerto Vallarta, Mexico, will be co-hosting guests at breakfast with some cultural enrichment.
Proceeds from the events will support the local American Legion Post 49 and their community Veterans’ Outreach programs.
