Authorities on Tuesday released the name of the woman who was found dead the previous morning near the dolphin fountain in Santa Barbara.

The deceased was Alexandria Grace Farstad, 32, of La Jolla and Riverside, according to Raquel Zick, public information officer fo the Santa Barbara County Sheriff’s Office.

Farstad’s body was discovered at about 6:30 a.m. Monday near the fountain at the base of Stearns Wharf along Cabrillo Boulevard, according to Sgt. Ethan Ragsdale of the Santa Barbara Police Department.

Investigators said previously they do not believe foul play was involved, but Zick said the “cause and manner of death are pending.”
