With cats and kittens of all shapes and sizes ready to find their forever homes, ASAP Cats will hold its monthly Adoption Event and Yard Sale, 10 a.m.-3 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 26.

As a Halloween treat, all kittens at the adoption event will be 2-FUR-1, and the shelter will be celebrating the holiday with free popcorn, cider, and spooky treats.

In addition to providing a cat connection, ASAP will be holding its monthly Yard Sale full of trinkets and treasures, including garage stockers such as gently used tools, screws and nails; travel equipment and vacation accoutrements; kitchen cutlery, utensils, and finery; as well as cat (and dog) toys and furniture.

All proceeds from the monthly yard sale go directly to supporting ASAP’s continued lifesaving operations.

For cat lovers not yet ready to adopt, fostering options are available. Fostering helps to give ASAP’s cats a break from shelter life.

ASAP’s volunteer matchmakers will have all the adoption/fostering details during the event, so feel free to ask a volunteer for guidance.

ASAP Cats is an organization dedicated to saving the lives of cats in Santa Barbara County by providing shelter, veterinary care, behavioral support, adoption and foster services, education, and community outreach.
