Hundreds of bicycle riders hit the streets of Santa Barbara on Saturday for the “Santa Barbara Familia Rideout.”

The unsanctioned event kicked off shortly after noon at La Mesa Park, with the riders traveling along Shoreline Drive.

Some of the cyclists entertained the crowds and fellow riders with trick riding as they made their way through the city and toward the Santa Barbara Mission.

There were a few complaints to the Santa Barbara Police Department about roadways and intersections being clogged by the riders, but no serious incidents were reported.
