Bishop Diego boys beach volleyball battled to a 3-2 victory over crosstown rival Providence on Thursday at East Beach.
The Cardinals’ pairings of James/Fisher, Blake/River and Brandan/Vince all earned victories on the way to the team win.
“There was a lot of great volleyball played today from the ones to the eights. It was a fun one to watch,” Bishop Diego head coach Jackson Stevens said.
The Cardinals will head out to Goleta to take on Dos Pueblos on Tuesday.
