Bishop Diego girls volleyball marched to a three-set sweep of Cate on Friday inside the Brick House, 25-19, 25-22, 25-15.
“Tonight was off to a slow start, but we found a way to pull it out,” Bishop Diego head coach Dillan Bennett said. “I’m happy to see our progress as we implement a few new wrinkles in our offense. We’re excited to close out the season next week as we prepare for the playoffs.”
Karina Urzua turned in another double-double for the Cardinals with 17 kills and 13 digs, while Ella Fuentes had five kills and one block.
Bishop Diego is now 14-6 overall and 7-3 against Tri-Valley League opponents.
