Laguna Blanca boys and girls turned in a strong showing at the Tri-Valley League Swim Finals on Friday at Ventura Aquatic Center.

Kendall Keshen led the charge for the girls, earning first-place finishing in the 100 breaststroke (1:09.63) and the 200 IM (2:09.83).

Other individual winners for the Owls were Rio Valle (50 freestyle, 22.55), Bennett Sullivan (200 IM, 2:02.47) and Eric Feng (100 freestyle, 49.43).

Valle, Sullivan and Feng were joined by Jack Grube in the 200 medley relay, finishing in 1:49.59 to clinch an automatic CIF-SS Div. 4 berth.

All five Laguna Blanca swimmers will compete in the CIF-SS Div. 4 prelims next week.

Bishop Diego

Tierney Clark represented Bishop Diego well at the Tri-Valley League Finals on Friday.

As the lone Cardinal competing, Clark took home a pair of first-place finishes.

She placed first in the 100 freestyle with a time of 56.70 seconds and followed that up with a victory in the 200 freestyle after finishing in 2:04.16.

Clark will now move on to compete in the CIF-SS playoffs.
