For a second straight day, Bishop Diego split games at the Thrills in the Hills Tournament Saturday, losing to Muir 17-7 and beating Rancho Mirage 12-3.

In the first game, the Cardinals finished the first period tied 4-4 with Muir before being held to three goals the rest of the way.

Paul Zoltoski led Bishop with three goals, and Noah Peterson added two. Austin Carty and David Acquistapce scored a goal each. Reagan Adams had 11 Saves in goal.

In the game against Rancho Mirage, for seventh place, the Cardinals led 6-2 at the half and then pulled away with a 5-0 third period.

David Acquistapace led with four Goals, followed by Austin Carty with three, Caprisabel Acquistapace two, and Max Schwarz one. Reagan Adams had seven Saves in goal.

The Cardinals, 4-2 on the season, travel to Anaheim next weekend to play in the Western Tournament.
