Bishop Diego swimmers met a few CIF-SS Division 4 qualifying times in a meet Wednesday against Tri-Valley League opponents St. Bonaventure and host Villanova Prep.
For the Cardinals girls, Capri Acquistapace placed second in the 100 and 200 freestyle, hitting an automatic qualifying time in the 200 free.
Ellis Bergquist won the 50 Freestyle and placed second in the 100 butterfly with a Division 4 consideration qualifying time. Kate McCoy dropped an impressive amount of time in earning a second in the 50 freestyle and fourth in the 100 free.
For the boys, Drin Ymeri won the 50 freestye with a Division 4 consideration qualifying time and also placed third in the 100 freestyle.
Noah Peterson placed second in the 200 freestyle.
Bishop Diego swims against next Thursday at Dos Pueblos against the host school and Cabrillo.
