The Goodland just keeps getting better — and tastier.

After a yearlong buzz, Finney’s Crafthouse has opened in the Camino Real Marketplace in Goleta.

“Since we opened in the Funk Zone in 2018, we’ve had Goleta residents and businesses ask us about coming to their community,” said Brad Finefrock, director of finance and development. “We were very patient in waiting for the right opportunity, and we finally found our Goleta home.”

The restaurant, at 6980 Marketplace Drive, is between The Natural Cafe and Chili’s and replaces Hollister Brewing Co., which previously occupied the space.

Finefrock said Finney’s offers “highly addictive food, amazing craft cocktails and 30 local beers on tap.”

“Whether people come to Finney’s for an office lunch, a dinner date or to celebrate a family birthday, our team is here to put a smile on their faces and provide them with a great experience,” Finefrock said.

He said Camino Real Marketplace is the perfect spot for Finney’s.

“Anytime you can have Costco, Home Depot and Best Buy as your co-tenants, you sign the lease,” Finefrock said. “Camino Real is the premier community center in Santa Barbara County, and we are lucky to be alongside so many great businesses.”

Finney’s also has locations in Westlake Village, Santa Barbara, Camarillo, Porter Ranch, Laguna Beach, Stevenson Ranch and elsewhere.

The restaurant has hot wings, sandwiches, tacos, burgers and a $9 kids menu.

“It is such a pleasure welcoming Finney’s Crafthouse,” Goleta City Councilman Stuart Kasdin said. “We’ve been waiting, eagerly, to fill the gap when HBC left. I have such warm memories of sitting in the patio area, on a sunny day with a cool beer, and really look forward to getting to know the new brewery.

“I would note that Finney’s joins a list of a number of other excellent craft breweries in the Goleta area. Goleta is being served.”
