Chicken restaurant Raising Cane’s is reportedly coming to Goleta.
The popular fast-food restaurant is apparently moving into Hollister Village, specifically where Kyle’s Kitchen resides, at 7000 Hollister Ave.
The chain restaurant is most known for its combo meals with fried chicken fingers, crinkle-cut fries, Texas toast and coleslaw.
Goleta, however, will not lose Kyle’s Kitchen.
The restaurant plans to move down the street into Storke Plaza near Target on the newly renovated side of the shopping center with Subway, IndoChina Market and Sam’s to Go.
Kyle’s Kitchen owner Jay Ferro confirmed the move to Noozhawk in July and said the restaurant leased two spots and plans to move in early 2026.

The Chase Restaurant Set to Reopen After Fire
The new year brings new beginnings for The Chase Restaurant.
More than a year after a fire blazed inside the Italian restaurant in downtown Santa Barbara, it reportedly will reopen on Jan. 19.
The restaurant, at 1012 State St., temporarily closed down after a fire damaged a wall and second story of the building in 2024.
Owner Georges Bitar told Noozhawk in 2024 that he and his wife, Nicole, were working to reopen as soon as they possibly could.
Casa Agria Taproom Closes State Street Location
The Casa Agria Taproom and Beer Garden closed its downtown Santa Barbara location for good on Sunday.
The taproom first opened its doors at 418 State St. in November 2024 in the same building as Shaker Mill and Broad Street Oyster Co.
“Over the past year, your incredible support has meant the world to us, and we feel truly honored to have been part of such a wonderful community,” Casa Agria said in a social media statement.
Its Oxnard location at 701 N. Del Norte Blvd., Suite 360, remains open.

Botanica San Judas Tadeo Opens Second Goleta Store
Goleta got another Mexican spiritual and wellness store in early December.
Botanica San Judas Tadeo opened up its second storefront, appropriately named Botanica San Judas Tadeo 2, at 5731 Hollister Ave.
Company representative Marcela Flores said the second location came about because the first one, at 174 Aero Camino, was out of the way from foot traffic.
The store offers spiritual and wellness products imported from Mexico, including candles, cleansing bath kits, incense, teas and ointments.
“I am very happy because thankfully ever since we opened this second location, people keep coming to visit us, and it has been successful,” Flores said.
