The Santa Barbara Blues Society (SBBS) presents multiple blues music awards nominee Terrie Odabi in her first Santa Barbara appearance, 8 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 16 in the Carrillo Ballroom at the Carrillo Recreation Center, 100 E. Carrillo St.

A soulful singer, Odabi, who is from from Oakland, California, will be fronting a seven-piece band that is known for its horn section.

Odabi has been nominated for a number of blues music awards: five times for Best Soul Blues Female Artist; and for her album “My Blue Soul” for Best Emerging Artist Album.

No smoking or vaping is allowed on the premises at the Carrillo Rec Center, including the adjacent outdoor patio. Beverages will be available for purchase
