Hoping to raise $100,000 at its 41st Annual Carpinteria Fundraiser, the United Boys & Girls Clubs of Santa Barbara County (UBGCSBC) invites the community to participate in this year’s event, called Best Bites, Big Futures.

The benefit will be Saturday, March 15 at the Carpinteria Club, and will feature a St. Patrick’s Day twist.

Attendees will enjoy live music, a cocktail hour and bites, as well as silent and live auctions while supporting Carpinteria youth.

“Our mission is simple yet powerful: to enable all young people, especially those who need us most, to reach their full potential as productive, caring, and responsible citizens,” United Boys & Girls Clubs said. “With your generosity, we can continue providing top-tier educational, recreational, and mentorship programs that make a profound difference in young lives.”

Among the fundraising benefits:

• The annual membership fee is $40 per year, but the actual cost of providing services is $1,200 per member annually.
• Thanks to the UBGCSBC scholarship program, no child is ever turned away due to financial hardship.
