Boys & Girls Clubs of Mid Central Coast (BGCMCC) invites the community to be its guest to this year’s annual spring auction and gala event Diamonds Are Forever, Saturday, May 9 at the Veterans’ Memorial Center in Santa Maria.
The event has been the premier fundraiser for BGCMCC for nearly four decades, bringing together its sponsors and supporters for an evening of auctions, raffles and festivities.
This 2026 gala theme of Diamonds Are Forever recognizes the 60th anniversary of the Boys & Girls Clubs of Mid Central Coast.
In the spirit of “Diamonds Are Forever,” guests are encouraged to dress to the nines in James Bond-inspired tuxedoes and dresses with sparkling accessories.
There will be a proclamation during the dinner program, in which Jane Kim, representing Boys & Girls Clubs of America, will recognize the organization for its dedication to the Central Coast community over the past six decades.
For those unable to attend the event in-person, BGCMCC suggests browsing the online silent auction and bid on prizes donated by dozens of local businesses.
Bidding is now open and available at around 7:15 p.m. May 9, PST on the event website.
This year’s gala is presented by Diamond Sponsors Boys & Girls Clubs of the Central Coast Foundation and Driscoll’s.
Other sponsors include: Mexican Ladies Social Club, Leavitt Coastal Valley Insurance, Dignity Health, Montecito Bank & Trust, Rotary Club of SM Breakfast, PETS Hospital, SpaceX, Santa Barbara Foundation, Ogden Wealth Management, CenCal Health, Columbia Bank, Astound Business Solutions, Allstate Premier Blue Insurance Agency, CoastHills Credit Union, SESLOC Credit Union, Community Bank of Santa Maria, and Allan Hancock College.
