San Marcos 17, Ventura 6
The Royals ran away with a lopsided Channel League win over the Cougars on Tuesday in Ventura.
San Marcos came out of the gates on fire with a 6-2 opening quarter and never looked back, getting the job done on both ends of the pool en route to the victory.
Cole Racich scored three goals to lead the team, while Christian Yonker, Jack Kramer and Indiana Roth all scored twice in the offensive outburst.
The Royals will host Dos Pueblos for a rivalry matchup on Thursday at 3:15 p.m.
Carpinteria High 17, Channel Islands 1
The Warriors dominated both ends of the pool in a rout of Channel Islands on Tuesday at Carpinteria Aquatics Center.
All nine Carpinteria High seniors found the back of the net, with key goals coming from Jeremy Haines and Sebastian Chism.
“Channel Islands brought some good energy to the pool and created a few competitive moments,” Warrior head coach Russell Russo-LeVasseur said. “I was proud of the sportsmanship shown by both teams.”
Carpinteria High will be on the road against Thousand Oaks on Friday.
