Santa Ynez swept the singles and came a set from sweeping the doubles on a windy, cold day at Cabrillo Tuesday in a 17-1 Channel League win for the Pirates.

“But all the players had fun on the court,” Santa Ynez coach Nate Thompson said. “We always love playIng Cabrillo as our players get along well with their players. We had good performances across-the-board, but our singles players are to be commended as they performed well despite the conditions going 9-0.”

The Pirates are now 15-3 overall and 5-2 in league play.
