The Council on Alcoholism and Drug Abuse (CADA) will formally open its newest Daniel Bryant Youth and Family Center in Santa Maria with a ribbon-cutting ceremony, 3-4 p.m. Tuesday, May 13, at 120 E. Jones St.

With the new facility, CADA expands its key mental health and substance use treatment services for youth and families in Northern Santa Barbara County.

It will allow CADA to increase its capacity to serve youth and families in need, providing a safe, supportive space for healing, growth, and recovery.

The event is hosted in partnership with the Santa Maria Valley Chamber of Commerce. Light refreshments will be served.

Founded in 2001, the Daniel Bryant Youth and Family centers provide outpatient treatment for youth ages 10-21 years who are struggling with substance use and co-occurring mental health disorders.

CADA operates centers in Santa Barbara, Lompoc and Santa Maria, serving youth and families across the county.
