Caltrans will perform a grind-and-pave operation on northbound US 101 in various locations from Winchester Canyon Road to El Capitan, 8 a.m.-3:30 pm., starting Thursday, April 17 and Friday, April 18.

The roadwork will continue 8 a.m.-3:30 p.m. Monday, April 21 through Wednesday, April 23.

Travelers will encounter alternating lane closures with delays not to exceed 10 minutes. The California Highway Patrol (CHP) will be onsite to ensure a safe environment for everyone.

The work will be performed by the Caltrans Maintenance North Crew from Santa Barbara.
